Mugure is the Managing Architect of Gitutho Architects and Planners, Nairobi office. The firm, based in Mombasa and Nairobi has been a leading firm in the industry for over 30 years. She has 13 years of experience in the Kenyan Real Estate industry. She is the founding Director of Little Einsteins East Africa and the Business Development and Creative Manager of this company that focuses on project-based STEM learning for children, now in over 20 schools in the greater Nairobi area and with over 1500 young children as members since inception in 2016.
The mother of two believes in giving back to the community. She is the founder and a trustee of the Ex-Bomarian Educational Fund a non-profit organization formed by Kenya High School Alumni that sponsors needy students at the school and also mentors them. Mugure also spearheaded a team of individuals who believe in ‘Action not Reaction.’ In participating in the building of homes for IDP’s through Habitat for Humanity Kenya. The team participated in 3 builds and raising funds for Habitats Mai Mahiu project. She Co-authored ‘Tropical Housing in the South of Florida’ with Prof. Allan Shulman, while doing her Masters at the University of Miami, ‘
On a personal level, she is a chronic book reader and member of an active book club, swimmer, a lover of art, poetry, music and eclectic jewelry and accessories.
She is a firm believer in paying it forward and mentoring and currently mentors, 4 ladies who are graduate and student Architects.
Ayuma Michelle is a Pan-African storyteller who believes in a world where African stories break barriers. She’s served +300 African brands, women, and youth leaders across the globe through Change Management Consulting, Leadership Development Coaching, Workshop Facilitation, and Pan-African Content Creation. A former Journalist and Youth Ambassador, today you’ll find Ayuma consulting in corporate boardrooms, facilitating workshops at company retreats, on a panel discussing Pan-African empowerment, or on a stage inspiring masses with her story.

Pinky Ghelani is one of Kenya’s most formidable public speakers.
With a combined platform that is on an upward trajectory she has
attracted an impressive amount of fans. Currently she a High Level
Influencer for UNHCR and champions the cause for the plight of
refugees. She is also an international presenter and Moderator and
under PINK MEDIA, she produces YouTube videos – and is working
on a motivational series based on her own experiences, where she
speaks out on subjects from motherhood to bullying.
Ms. Ghelani has been voted one of the Top 3 presenters on air in
Kenya and is the CEO of PINK (People In Need in Kenya) a charity
that works with the KSPCA and Breast Cancer Awareness as well as
Stroke Awareness. She has been involved in many causes and has also
been recognized for her great humanitarian efforts. She has been key
in bringing awareness to HIV/AIDS as well as Cerebral Palsy. Her
work in charity and fundraising has extended into Nairobi Women’s
Hospital where she was able to assist in raising funds that go toward
patients who have been sexually abused. Her work with The Jaipur
Foot Foundation where she has managed to give away numerous
wheelchairs and prosthetic legs.
Pinky has worked with top brands for social media content in Kenya
showcasing the most luxurious lifestyle brands, Some brands she had
worked with are Lancome, MAC, Dusit D2, Silver Palms Spa and
Hotel, Moet & Chandon and Guerlain, Westgate Mall amongst others
I am an accomplished Marketing Lead with experience of ecommerce and education. I design and build impactful marketing campaigns, with a particular focus on relationship marketing. I am known for being able to assist struggling education institutions to create strategies around their enrollment and admissions process.
As an early employee at several startups I have helped build company cultures and enjoyed being an integral part of each team. I have a particular passion for mentoring others, a passion which I bring to both my professional and private life.
Janet Mbugua is a Kenyan Media Personality and is a dynamic individual, who has become a household name, through her professional and good-natured approach to her job as a News Anchor, Reporter and Producer both in her country, Kenya and in South Africa. Her experience in Broadcast has seen her cover the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, the 2007 and 2013 Kenya elections and the 2012 U.S Elections.
Janet started out in Radio at the age of 19 on Nairobi’s Capital FM. She studied for a BA in Mass Communication in Malaysia before returning to Kenya, where she moved on to television, becoming the host of the popular travel show Out and About on KTN, and later became a Prime Time News Anchor and Reporter, still on KTN.
Janet was then headhunted for the position of News Anchor, Reporter and Producer, as well as part-time host of the Pan-African Current Affairs show, Africa 360, by e TV in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2009.
She then returned to Kenya in 2011, where she joined Citizen TV as a Prime Time News Anchor, Reporter and Producer until April 2017.
Janet is the founder of the Inua Dada Foundation, an organization whose mission is to create a supportive and accessible environment for primary school girls in Kenya by conducting research to identify issues that hinder learning and working collaboratively with strategic partners to implement sustainable solutions (http://www.inuadadafoundation.org). With a focus on Menstrual Health Management, the organization has empowered more than 12,000 girls over the last two years and held various media and advocacy events that have reached thousands of people.
In 2017 she collaborated with UNICEF on their End Child Marriage campaign, as one of their spokespersons and influencers in Kenya.
She is the founder and Project Manager for the online portrait series, #IAmMotherhood, which she started in February in 2017 (www.iammotherhood.love). She often collaborates with Award Winning Photographer Osborne Macharia on the project, which highlights the trials, tribulations and challenges faced by mothers. She showcased her work at the Africa Health Agenda international Conference in 2017, in Nairobi. In July 2017 she joined The Hive, a US Based organization seeking to amplify Gender Equality messaging in Kenya and Tanzania, as the Kenya Advisor. The Hive is supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

• Being named as one of the top three best News Anchors in Kenya by the Media Council of Kenya in 2014
• Being appointed Brand Ambassador for the Lifebuoy Help A Child Reach 5 campaign, representing Kenya globally in 2016

She is currently pursuing her MBA.
Janet got married to Eddie Ndichu in 2015 and they welcomed their son, Ethan Huru Ndichu, later that year. She and her family live in Nairobi.

Olivia is the Co-founder and Director of SpaDreaming.com, Kenya’s largest online marketplace for Spa Experiences and spa gift vouchers.
She is also the creator, organiser and host of the Nairobi SoapBox Club Night.
Olivia loves creating events and experiences that make people feel alive. She measures her success by how much people participate and takes pride in creating memorable events that leave people buzzing for days afterwards. After MCing a number of weddings and events and feeling woefully under-rehearsed, Olivia searched for opportunities to practise her public speaking skills locally. Realising that she was not alone in her search, she created the Nairobi SoapBox Club Night in August 2018.
Olivia has spent her life getting comfortable (and uncomfortable) on stage and in front of crowds, performing in dance competitions and musicals as a child in Australia, then working for 10 years internationally as a group fitness instructor.
In 2003/4 Olivia spent a year in USA where she trained, competed and won the FRISCO Boxing Championship in California as a lightweight amateur boxer. She later went on to co-produce the
documentary ‘Unladylike’, The Fight for Female Boxing, which was screened at the 2016 World Of Film International Festival in Glasgow, the Crystal Palace International Film Festival in London and featured in Women’s CineMaker’s Magazine in 2017.
Olivia is an experienced facilitator and trainer, having spent 5 years leading workshops, retreats and training programmes for community leaders, change-makers and NGO workers in remote locations around the world, including Zambia, Indonesia and Cambodia.
She has MC’d at corporate events, weddings and recently co-MC’d the 24th edition of the hit comedy show ‘Because You Said So’. She is a mum of two who dreams of living beachside and eating Swahili food all day.
